Sente Announces Town Hall Meeting to
Gather Resident Feedback on State Issues

VERNON HILLS, Ill. – State Rep. Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, will host a public town hall meeting for residents to receive a Springfield update and to ask questions about legislation that affects them on Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Vernon Hills Park District's Laschen Center, located at 294 Evergreen Dr. in Vernon Hills.

“The General Assembly must address many issues this session, as we work towards passing a responsible budget, paying down the state’s backlog of unpaid bills, and making Illinois more business-friendly,” Sente said. “Our candid dialogue will serve as an opportunity for residents to share their priorities, voice their concerns and receive an update on legislation that will help determine the future of our state and community.”

During the town hall meeting, Sente will provide a legislative update, present her current legislative initiatives, and take questions from those in attendance.
