Sente to Host Latino Family Advisory Committee

VERNON HILLS, Ill. – State Rep. Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is hosting a Latino Family Advisory Committee meeting to discuss issues of importance to the Latino community on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Meeting Room C at the Fremont Public Library in Mundelein.

“It is vital that I have a concrete understanding of the thoughts and feelings of everyone in my district,” Sente said. “These advisory committees give me the unique ability to get feedback and ideas from residents on the future they want to see for the state of Illinois.”

During this meeting, local families will have the opportunity to come together for an open discussion on the condition of our community and the state of Illinois, access current legislation and the effects it will have on our community, and brainstorm ideas for future legislation. Along with her Latino Family Advisory Committee, Sente also hosts several other advisory committees for residents concerned with education, environmental issues, and health care.

This event is free and open to all area residents who are interested in discussing issues concerning the Latino community. For more information or to reserve a seat, please contact Sente’s constituent service office at 847-478-9909 or email
