Sente Invites Residents to Mundelein Town Hall Meeting

VERNON HILLS, Ill. – State Rep. Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, is holding a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, April 9, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mundelein Village Hall located at 300 Plaza Circle in Mundelein.

“There have been numerous bills introduced this spring, including several initiatives of mine to foster economic development, increase government accountability, address rising college tuition costs and encourage environmental stewardship, that I look forward to discussing at our town hall meeting,” Sente said. “Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with our community is very important to me, so I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity to join in on the conversation.”

The event will begin with a brief legislative update from Sente on the important issues being discussed in the General Assembly. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts on how to address legislative challenges in the weeks ahead.
“The legislature faces many difficult decisions in the coming weeks as we work to develop a budget that protects essential services that families depend on, but also allows us to live within our means,” Sente said. “During this time, I will continue reaching out into the community to engage with residents and gather feedback on proposals being considered. Together, we can put Illinois back on track.”
