Sente Hosts Small-Business Summit to Connect Local Entrepreneurs with State Resources

“Collaboration between small businesses and elected officials will lead to new breakthroughs, innovations and job creation right here at home and throughout our state,” Sente said. “My Small-Business Summit was one such collaboration that I see as a continued conversation between leaders in business and state government to foster economic growth.”

During the summit, Sente provided a legislative update on business legislation from the recent legislative session. Sean McCarthy, Director of the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) and other DCEO staff presented on state resources and programs available including workforce development, site selection, tax credits, lending and business plans.
