Legislative InternshipState Representative Carol Sente is seeking energetic students (High School & College) from the 59th District to assist her legislative staff with a wide variety of interesting assignments. Working in a legislative office can be a great experience for students interested in government, community service, public relations, or marketing/sales. Students will have opportunities to develop diverse skills by assisting legislative staff with community outreach, research, event planning, and data management. In addition, students may be invited to attend meetings and assist in constituent service.
VolunteerOur office is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to make a difference in District 59. We could use assistance from constituents of all ages with a variety of interests. Whether you would like to volunteer once, weekly, monthly or for a period of time, we would enjoy sharing with you the workings of our constituent services office. We can tailor the tasks to your interest including assistance with mailings, data entry, phone calls, events and many other activities. Join a Citizen Advisory CommitteeI have six (6) different subject matter specific citizen advisory groups that meet semi-annually to discuss important issues going on in the state relating to that topic. If you have a particular passion for the Environment, Education, Health Care, Economic Development, Special Needs and Young Adults issues, please join me at my next Citizen Advisory Committee.
